All this is done for our part in principle of open tables, that is to say that people come and go according to their wishes and the time they have to bring to discover or take advantage of the role-playing tables.

Unfortunately, we are not able to play games in your language, speaking only French. Anime Was a Mistake, or AWAM, is a role-playing game with strong Japanese accents. Inspired by popular works from the archipelago, manga, video games, anime, light novel... Here, no universe and no history defined in advance to justify any consistency. Nope ! It is a bento box* containing playful and narrative tools to fully play Japanese animation. From the rules, to the advice of MJ, from the preprints to the personal file. Here everything exudes cherry blossoms and soy sauce. * traditional box of leftovers more or less accommodated for lunch. But why this title? To justify a position vis-à-vis the media. “They went too far,” as the author behind Studio Ghibli would have said. This sentence "anime was a mistake, it's nothing but trash" is a translation error of course, but perhaps sums up the master's thinking quite well. Anyway, I think so. This is what this game lends itself to, trying to emulate the universe and the codes of these works without the hassle. May it accompany your wildest delusions, and make you live fascinating stories with lots of clichés, worn-out gags, overplayed gimmicks, memorable tirades and cries of endless challenges.

A super predator from space (or elsewhere) united with its brood brethren by the collective consciousness. Together, the characters will try to satisfy Mummy (the queen) as best they can for the good of the hive. In this game, the collective consciousness is represented by a pool of common dice to resolve actions.

The characters will embody the settlers of these barely explored worlds, from societies they call Cult in memory of ancient idols. Their daily life will be made up of political intrigues, cult disputes, technological rediscovery, capricious magical forces and mysteries linked to the past of the Universe. They will be the temporary champions of a world that the Gods prefer to leave abandoned. You can embody both typical or influential individuals and extraordinary beings concealing their powers.
