ECAM Brussels Engineering School
About us
Join us for workshops and demonstrations of VR and electronics!
ECAM is a Haute École training industrial engineers on the Alma campus in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. More than 90 teachers supervise 1,200 students in various disciplines: automation, construction, electromechanics, surveying, health engineering, electronics and computer science. These last two areas are represented at the Made in Asia festival through demonstrations and workshops that will give you a taste for science and engineering.

Atelier d'électronique
After this workshop, lighting an LED and connecting electronic components together will have no more secrets for you! Join us to make circuits with the help of ECAM teachers who will explain to you step by step how the assembly works. Each workshop lasts 30 minutes and is available in four “difficulty levels”: Level 1: Turn on an LED Level 2: Control an LED with a button Level 3: Connect an LED to an infrared distance sensor Level 4: Control a 7-segment display with buttons (a challenge for pianists!) Registration is recommended to guarantee your place. They are done online for Friday and directly at the stand on Saturday and Sunday, click on the link below ;)

Démonstration d'électronique
How does the electronics work? What's the point of all those capacitors, resistors, wires, in short, all that stuff? Throughout the festival, we'll help you better understand what's inside your electronic devices and what the signals hiding there look like.

Démonstration d'impression 3D
These little frogs came out of nowhere! Actually, they were 3D printed using a printer no bigger than a microwave oven. Visit our stand to understand how this technology works and to see it in action!

Réalité virtuelle
Come and try virtual reality for a few minutes! Researchers will be there to explain to you how to design a game in virtual reality or how to simulate physical interactions in the environment.
