Akage Sensei is a freelance illustrator, living in the world of yokai and everything related to Japanese folklore. Also very inspired by ukiyo-e, he likes to modernise old japanese prints, sometimes mixed with pop culture as with Pokémon.

YOKAIDEX, the YOKAI encyclopedy (french)
(Re)Discover Japan and its mysteries from a fresh perspective! The YŌKAIDEX is almost an encyclopedia, designed to immerse you in the fascinating world of yōkai, the supernatural creatures of Japanese folklore. Around one hundred yōkai and kami are listed, along with their etymology, physical and behavioral descriptions, appearances in pop culture, and sometimes unusual anecdotes and legends associated with them. The YŌKAIDEX is intended to be fun, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone. The book has been designed to be understandable for beginners: if you have no prior knowledge of Japanese culture or the world of yōkai, don't worry, this book is for you too! ⚠️ The book is not recommended for children under 12, as it occasionally touches on some difficult themes (gore, violence, phobias, etc.). ⚠️ The YŌKAIDEX is writen and available only in french.
