International internship organized in Louvain-la-Neuve

The Francophone Aikido Association organized an international training course led by Christian Tissier Shihan. This event was part of the celebrations marking 160 years of Belgian-Japanese diplomatic relations.

To mark 160 years of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan, the Francophone Aikido Association brought together over 250 participants for its latest international seminar in September 2026 in Louvain-la-Neuve. This seminar, led by Christian Tissier Shihan, 8th Dan Aikikai, provided an opportunity to deepen the training received at the club level.
To underscore the significance of the event, Ms. Fuji Izumi, Director of the Cultural Center at the Japanese Embassy, ​​along with several local political figures, officially opened the seminar.
