I am an amateur artist particularly influenced by Japanese culture. I have three major series in progress. The first focused on manga: black and white pencil portraits of more than 65 characters representing more than 25 different manga, both recent and old school, shonen or seinen that I called the Winter Shonen Series. A second turned to Japanese folklore, through very colorful watercolors revisiting the symbols of Japan (tori, koi carp, bonzai, cherry tree etc.) staged like stained glass. And the third and last parody of famous movie posters and associating them with geek culture: the Winter Cinema Series. I present the originals as well as prints of my creations.
