New Zone: Belgian Valley

The Belgian Valley is a brand-new area exclusively dedicated to Belgian artists and the craftsmanship of local creators! A unique, vibrant, and inspiring space designed to showcase local creativity in all its forms.

You’ll discover 34 incredibly talented Belgian artists, brought together to present unique, original, and authentic creations.

It’s also a space where visitors can shop, stroll through the booths, and uncover truly amazing treasures imagined and crafted with passion by Belgian creators.

Finally, the Belgian Valley will also be a place for connection and sharing, offering a wide range of pop culture workshops for an even more immersive experience.

ZONE 1


10-11am The Basics of a Good Storyline by Emilie Ansciaux

  • Write a Bloody Thriller with Belgian author Hellboy Dom

11am-12pm Sakura in Ink on Rice Paper by Shiki Illustration

  • Discover Chinese ink painting on rice paper by creating a cherry blossom tree in the spirit of calligraphy, and leave with your own artwork.

1-2pm Create Your Own Pokémon Card by Illona la petite étoile

  • Unleash your creativity and imagination by designing and drawing your very own “Pokémon”.

2pm-3pm Introduction to Tabletop Role-Playing by La Looterie

  • An introductory tabletop role-playing workshop led by a Game Master. Participants will create a character (if time allows) or experience an immersive one-shot adventure lasting about one hour. No prior experience required.

3-4pm Create Your Own Personalized Bookmark by LNP


4-5pm Paint a Japanese Lantern with Black Ecoline by Scyan’s Pencils

  • Learn how to paint a Japanese lantern using black ecoline, following a technique inspired by traditional Chinese ink prints.
    All artistic levels are welcome, even if you’ve never held a paintbrush before!

10-11am Manhwa: The New Korean Comics Taking the World by Storm by Sweet and Books

  • A presentation about manhwa, their origins, the differences between manga and manhwa, popular manhwa platforms, as well as a showcase of selected titles and their film or TV adaptations.

11am-12pm Draw a portrait cartoon style by Doodle

  • Doo.deul will teach you to draw a portrait in a simple cartoon style.

12-1pm Paint your own Clay Pin by naddicreates

  • For this workshop, handmade, unpainted air-dry clay pins shaped like cats and dogs of different breeds will be provided. Participants will decorate them to resemble their own pets using acrylic markers, which will also be supplied.
